Consultation for clinicians and organizations
We provide client consultation to group homes, mental health agencies and social service organizations.
Consultation offers a way to bring a defined question to a clinician and explore the information, perspectives or recommendations relevant to it.
Questions to bring to an enquiry
- What client-related question or service concern needs attention?
- Who is involved in the client’s support or care?
- What information and previous recommendations are available?

Common questions
How is consultation different from clinical supervision?
Consultation focuses on a defined clinical or service question. Clinical supervision concerns the supervisee’s clinical work within an agreed professional arrangement. Explain your needs so the team can discuss which service fits.
Can an agency or group home request consultation?
Yes. Client consultation for group homes, mental health agencies and social service organizations are offered services. Contact the team about the services you are interested in exploring.
Will supervision count toward my registration or placement requirements?
That depends on the proposed supervisor, arrangement and requirements of your regulator or training program. Confirm the relevant approval and documentation before beginning.
Can we enquire about a seminar topic that is not listed?
Yes. The listed subjects are examples. Describe the topic and audience, then ask whether an appropriate clinician or facilitator is available.
Are services available online or in person?
Ask which delivery formats are currently available for the service you need and whether they meet your organization’s or program’s requirements.
