TRAUMA, ACCIDENT AND INJURY
Assessment, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Services are provided to employees with serious, complex, or long term issues. As per uk rehab sometimes these issues are as a result of trauma, accident or Injury. The objective of the Employer in providing these Services to an Employee is to help intervene when:
- An employee is experiencing or creating significant difficulties at work because of a serious mental health issue or a physical issue often with a serious mental health component. An employee has been absent from work for a significant time and needs psychotherapy and return to work counseling services to assist them in regaining their health and ability to function at both their home and job. Effective early intervention avoids claims for long term disability benefits.
An employee has been absent from work for a long time and who without considerable assistance will not be returning to work in the near future. Assessment and Rehabilitation services are specific to the individual’s situation and might include a full assessment, psychotherapy, physical treatment, and other professional services including case management, functional capacity evaluations, and return to work support services.
