Bobbi-Jo Kelly obtained her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University following her B.A. in psychology from Carleton University. Bobbi- Jo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Reg # 11327 with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) she practises psychotherapy with clinical supervision.
Bobbi-Jo’s experience has included working with such issues as emotional regulation and stress management, depression, anxiety, healing from trauma, intrusive thoughts, substance use, communication skills, self-esteem and body image issues, conflict resolution, life-skill development and relational conflict. Bobbi-Jo has experience working with children, youth, young adults and adults.
Bobbi-Jo has a wide range of knowledge in different therapeutic interventions including various counselling approaches, modalities and techniques. Areas of clinical practice and therapeutic modalities include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused therapies, behaviour management interventions and talk/client focused therapy
